RAIDO Ops Management

Flight Schedule Management

Short and long-term schedule development and management is a very complex strategic element of profitable airline operations. Schedules are easily generated and edited in the RAIDO Gantt. The airline can easily build and maintain their route network, taking into account such factors as: variable and fixed costs, expected passenger demand, fleet and crew capacity, code-share management etc.

RAIDO has a flexible rule engine, tailored to display warnings for any airline defined violations. For example: rules can be added to avoid a specific aircraft operating to a pre-defined station(s). SSIM export, including onward reference and code share flights, is also available from RAIDO.

RAIDO can optimize the timetable and rotate the flights onto the aircraft fleet based on: LIFO or FIFO method or using the Tail Optimizers. N RAIDO supports “ghost aircraft” for flights not yet assigned to a specific aircraft tail.

Operations Control

The Operations Control element in RAIDO allows the user to manage and monitor flights in real time. RAIDO receives messages and updates the flights, recalculating crew legality and provides warnings on missing data, station conflicts etc. The flexible rule engine can handle any kind of data inside RAIDO, which allows the airline to have operational rules for Aircraft and Legs.

As RAIDO is an event-driven system different messages are triggered based on operational events happening in the system. RAIDO supports standard IATA messaging as well as custom build message standards and own messages that can be automatically sent to different receivers or receiver groups. The operational messages can be sent using different delivery methods such as email, Type-B, SMS, FTP and social media portals.

The intuitive Gantt allows the user to quickly find and filter on data according to the given parameters. Flight and aircraft violations are presented to the user with different colors and icons depending on categories and severity levels. The flexible and customizable User Interface assists the user with decision support.
